Biography
1952 born July 16 in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA
1966 moved to Florida
1970 completed high school
1971-72 attended Edison College, studied art and psychology
1972-73 University of South Florida, received B.A., studied art and art history
1976-78 studied art and architecture in Florence, Italy
1978-81 returned to Florida; Set designer for Theatre Associates, designed stage sets and lighting for 35 theatre productions
co-produced several traveling productions in Southwest Florida
guest set designer for Edison Community College Theater, Ft. Myers, Florida
1981 assisted Robert Rauschenberg and Gemini G.E.L. in William Borroughs Graphik Projekt American Pewter with Burroughs I-VI, opened art studio in Ft. Myers, Florida
1982 assisted Robert Rauschenberg with Kabal American Zephyr Series and production of Quarter Mile
1983 designed and constructed first home on Sanibel Island; assisted Robert Rauschenberg with production and installation of The First 400 Feet or More than 1/2 a Furlong of the 1/4 Mile or 2 Furlong Piece, Center for the Fine Arts, Miami, Florida
1984 guest set designer for the production of Indians, Edison Community College, Ft. Myers, Florida; assisted Robert Rauschenberg on Salvage Series, assisted on Set + Reset, Trisha Brown Dance Co.; apprentices silkscreen production with Larry Wright
1985 silkscreen production for Robert Rauschenberg Overseas Culture Interchange (R.O.C.I.), Museo Rufino Tamayo, Mexico City, Mexico; assisted Robert Rauschenberg on Salvage Series
1986 set designer for Dinny & the Witches, Corbin Theater, Ft. Myers, Florida; art production for R.O.C.I. Venezuela; art production for R.O.C.I. Chile
1987 designed and constructed second home in Ft. Myers, Florida; art production for R.O.C.I. Japan; coordinated first Rauschenberg show at Jamileh Weber gallery, Zurich
1988 traveled to Greece, Zurich and Cuba; art production for R.O.C.I. Cuba; assisted Robert Rauschenberg in Gluts, Urban Bourbon Series, Shiner Series and Galvanic Suite Series
1989 designed Rauschenberg residence, Captiva, Florida; art production for R.O.C.I. USSR, Moscow; art production for R.O.C.I. Berlin, simultaneous exhibitions in East and West Berlin; art production for R.O.C.I. Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur; appointed to management capacity at Untitled Press, Inc.
1990 commence photography; art production for R.O.C.I. USA; assisted Robert Rauschenberg with art production at Saff Tech Arts, Gemini G.E.L. and U.L.A.E.; documentary photography for Rauschenberg; continues managing Untitled Press, Inc.
1991 beginning of Eclipse Series; designes Rodney Schmidt residence, Ft. Myers, Florida; designed Rauschenberg studio complex, Captiva, Florida; documentary photography for Rauschenberg art production and management for Untitled Press, Inc.
1992 continues Eclipse Series; begin Brow Series (lexan photo transfers); designed poster for Art for the Acts 1992, Ft.
