Studying the writings of Johann Valentin Andreae's 'Die chymische Hochzeit des Christian Rosenkreutz' and Raymond Roussel's 'Locus Solus', cultivated the artist's interest in alchemy, Surrealist machines, and the absurd.

The sculptures of Rebecca Horn are events in space. Besides the given architectural rules she always establishes her own legitimacy. She works deliberated with different artistic methods on the idea to fathom out the extreme borders of space. The aura appearing from the directed dialogue of here various works leave the individual quality of each object far behind.

Considered one of the essential artists of the second half of the 20th century, her artistic proposals are always borderline of various disciplines.
